Reading early to babies has many benefits. I started reading to my daughter when she was 5 months old. Personally, I loved the reading time with her, since I felt it strengthened our bond.
In this post, I will list the books my daughter loved and I would highly recommend to any parent thinking of starting to read for your kids
Moo Baa La La La – By Sandra Boynton – ABSOLUTELY LOVED this one! Used to pretty much read every day, and do it even today at times (my daughter 1.5 yr now). It’s a fun way to introduce animal sounds to babies. The surprise elements in the flow always ended up in giggles.
Dinosnores – By Sandra Boynton – Along with Moo Baa La La La, this used to be our daily read. Highly recommend it!!!
Peek-a Who? – By Nina Laden – Don’t know any parents who don’t plat peek-a-boo with their kids. This is the first game for babies and what makes this book special is the last page (suspense!).
Everywhere Babies – By Susan Meyers – All time favorite of my daughter even today.
First 100 Words – By Roger Priddy Is there any kid on the block who doesn’t have this book?
